De-foamers

Surface active agents added in the process of boiling of wood or pulp cause foam. The degree of foam formation depends on the type & speed of machine, nature of pulp, pH etc. EZOCHEM's de-foamers are developed with a view to reduce surface tension at the liquid to air surface and thus eliminate foam. In brown stock it efficiently improves the COD removal & simultaneously reduces the transfer of de-foamer residuals to the bleaching plant.

The type and quantity of de-foamer to be used would depend on the quality of foam, pH of the medium etc.
